Oberon tells her that they will dance at the wedding of Theseus's and Hippolyta's wedding. Then Theseus, Hippolyta and Egeus arrive where Lysander, Hermia, Helena, and Demetrius are sleeping. They are in the forest to celebrate May and hunt using dogs. When Theseus sees the couples on the ground he wakes them up with a sound of the horn. When they wake up they tell Theseus of their strange "dream". Then seeing that all couples are perfectly matched like the are, Hermia and Lysander, Demetrius and Helena, he overrules Egeus's wishes for Hermia to marry Demetrius.
