A Midsummer Night's Dream-Act 2 Summary
It all starts off with the fairies talking about the plans of their rulers. Then Titania and Oberon enter with their fairies and argue about who gets the human boy that Titania has taken in after his mother dies. They also accuse each other of cheating on one another. Then Titania and her fairies leave and Oberon the king of fairies talks to Robin/Puck and tells him to bring him a special flower that makes people fall madly in love with the first thing they see when they wake up. Oberon says that Oberon will use the flower on Titania and get the child from. When Demetrius and Helena enter and Oberon sees how mean Demetrius is to Helena he wants Puck/Robin to use the powers on them but he is not planning that Hermia and Lysander are also in the forest. The fairies then sing Titania to sleep and Oberon uses the powers on her. Meanwhile Robin mistakes Hermia and Lysander for Demetrius and Helena so he uses the flower on Lysander but when Lysander wakes up the first thing he sees is Helena. So Lysander leaves Hermia asleep in the grass to chase after Helena.
